Imagine arriving back at your campsite after a long day of outdoors activities, and sliding into a steaming hot tub to ease your strained muscles. Enter The Original Nomad Portable Hot Tub. This ultra-portable hot tub (“ultra portable” by normal hot tub standards) weighs only 50 lbs. and packs up into a 14″ x 16″ x 30″ duffel bag for easy transport.
Heating the Portable Hot Tub
A stainless steel tube moves water around either a wood fire or a propane burner and back into the hot tub. The heater unit attaches to the hot tub in a lower position (cold intake) and an upper position (hot return). The hot water in the tube flows out of the upper position and brings more cold water into the tube.

Filling the hot tub could be accomplished by repeated trips to your water source with a collapsible camp bucket. However, Nomad recommends using a Honda Portable Gasoline Powered Water Pump. Either way, you’re going to want to be fairly close to a water source.
The Original Nomad Company is all about “adventuring creatively.” I couldn’t think of a more enjoyable way to round out an adventure than by relaxing in a hot tub.
