A Drunk Moose is a Bizarre Sight

It appears that this moose ate a few too many fermented apples in Sweden. After getting drunk on the hard apples, he climbed up in the apple tree and got stuck.

The moose began to feel the effects after eating a few apples. He became stuck as he tried to reach higher in the tree for more apples.

Outdoor Life‘s Gayne C. Young has more details.

Move over chimpanzees. Apparently moose are more closely related to humans than are our primate cousins. At least that’s what I gather after reading about a moose in Sweden that got drunk and ended up stranded in a tree.

Police removed the animal by cutting the tree down out from under it. The moose staggered off unharmed albeit drunk… [continued]
