In Search of Helldiver Moose

Few videos can relax and excite at the same time, but this clip pulls it off.

There aren’t many outdoor quests that are more relaxing than floating across a mirror lake in a canoe or kayak, where the swish of the paddle creates a background rhythm to the sounds of nature. Then, enter a giant bull moose and your heart begins to race as you ogle at the majesty of this huge animal. The crown of antlers is covered in velvet and would feel warm to the touch, if you could. This land giant seems as comfortable in the water as a goose and wades, feeds, and swims with ease.

The bull moose in this video frequents Helldiver Pond in the Moose River Plains, Adirondacks, NY.

  1. That is such a great video. I have been in that park only once or twice and only briefly. I can see why you folks love it so.
